Spotting a Bad Credit Card

This guest post was written by Tom T. You can find more of his work over at FindSecuredCards, a bad credit cards site helping people re-build their credit.

Rebuilding your credit isn’t the hardest thing to do, but if you’re having a hard time doing it, let me give you a few pointers on how you can get your credit back on the right track. Hopefully, after viewing these tips, you should be able to find a credit card that works for you.

The best way to rebuild your credit, in my opinion is via a credit card. There are cards out there such as a bad credit card, as well as a secured card. The cool thing about these cards is that they approve 99% of the people that apply. As long as you have a deposit, you‘re going to get approved for the card. The deposit will only range around $200, or so.

Now, if you’re looking for a credit card to help with your credit, you’re going to want to consider the following tips, when applying for one:

Make sure it has a major logo: Get a card that has a major logo. If it has a Visa, Mastercard, etc, you’re going to be safe. There are some cards out there that have no logos at all, which spell scam!

Trust your gut: Look at the site, and you should be able to spot a card that is going to work for you. As long as you trust your gut, and do your homework, you’re going to find that a card is going to work for you. Look for contact numbers, as well as reviews online.

The fees: All bad related credit cards are going to have fees. The thing is that you’re going to want to look into a card that has minimal fees. You don’t want a card that is going to rip you off with weekly fees.

Usually, if you follow the tips above, you’re going to find that you can get a great card. Just use the card responsibly, pay it off on time, and you should be building your credit in no time.
